Unexpected Discovery #1

I didn’t expect this game to have anything in common with Vampire Survivors at all.  But we quickly found that the most effective strategy for conserving ammunition, when dealing with enemies that are programmed to follow you, is to round them up into one place, contain them, and take them out with as few bullets as possible. This feels very familiar to how one deals with the hordes of enemies in Vampire Survivors.

This is a result of neither game really allowing fora typical, continuous auto-fire. Generally your weapons are on a cool down in Vampire Survivors  and they automatically fire at a predetermined rate.. Crust Shmup both necessitates and rewards using as little ammunition as possible (although auto-fire is an option and often a last resort)

Therefore, Crust Shmup is a tiny, tiny bit like Vampire Survivors because the enemies follow you and you can’t just mindlessly, endlessly auto-fire at them.

And whilst this was unintentional, its not a bad thing as guiding the zaku enemy into one position to easily and efficiently eliminate them is quite fun and satisfying when pulled off successfully.
